Through art, I examine everyday life and try to understand the world around me. My works are pieces of stories and one image leads on to the next. The painting becomes a processing of events. They were once described as social-realist naivety, a combination I liked. The motifs are taken from everyday moments and the people in the paintings are often in empty and quiet environments, facing away from the viewer.
